To recreate this photo I know ill be using many gels, with a red backlight highlighting her hair, and an orange gel over a strobe pointing towards the backdrop.  I will also maybe include a 2 small soft-boxes with a green gel covering one and a blue gel covering the other.

Assignment 3: One Light

A.  Camera Settings: ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/40 Aperture: f/5 B. Camera Settings: ISO: 400 Shutter Speed:1/160 Aperture: f/4.5 C. For both pictures, I kept in mind the Inverse Square Law, which determined the good and bad photo. For the good photo, I made sure that the light being used was far away from the subject, so that it created soft shadows. For the bad photo, I put the light directly below and in front of the model to make sure it gave hard shadows.
